Introduction
One of the peaks in the Himalayan mountain range is Mount Everest. It is situated between Tibet, an autonomous territory of China, and Nepal. At 29,032 feet, or 8,849 meters, it is regarded as the highest point on Earth. George Everest, a former Surveyor General of India, was honored with a name change for the mountain in the nineteenth century. Chomolungma is the Tibetan name, meaning "Mother Goddess of the World." Sagarmatha is the name in Nepali, and it has multiple meanings.
Although the expression "sherpa" genuine relates to an ethnic group, it is sometimes used as a reference to "mountain guide." The Sherpas can provide other climbers their invaluable mountain climbing experience. Without the logistical support and experience of the Sherpas, most Everest climbs would be impossible.
